Ineluctable Modality of the Audible

In my quest to conquer your attention one sense at a time, I must alert you to an audio interview avec moi, conducted by Albert Davenport of Valhalla Press.  In it, I discuss both my novella The Ecstasy of Michaela and my essay-manifesto, “The Strange Lanes of Hell: Against Materialist Anti-Aesthetics.”  The conversation ranges from Catholicism to conspiracy theory, the privatization of the university to the origins of creativity.  Names mentioned, for good or ill: John Keats, Flannery O’Connor, Franco Moretti, John Berger.  Also notable is my endorsement of the view that art is the result of a divine frenzy.
